Initial Consultation

The initial consultation is an important part of our patient experience. We believe in setting the right expectations for our patients whenever they come in.

Peace of Mind from an Experienced Medical Professional

When you first come in for your appointment, your consultation will begin with a thorough assessment of your medical history from a qualified professional. The practitioner will then diagnose, guide you through your treatment options, and answer any questions or concerns you may have about our hyperbaric oxygen treatments. Our patients are encouraged to ask more questions to make informed decisions on their health. While hyperbaric oxygen therapy can help patients deal with various medical conditions, it may not be for everyone, especially if they have existing medical conditions that affect their lungs or are simply afraid of enclosed spaces.

Modern Equipment with High Safety Standards

Generally, patients will be required to come in for multiple sessions before seeing results, so making sure they’re comfortable is our top priority. Our patients deserve reliable care whenever they come in for treatment, and we’ve also made sure we uphold all safety standards. As oxygen is highly combustible, we’ve ensured that our equipment and hyperbaric oxygen therapy practices are up to the industry standard. We also utilize 100% medical-grade oxygen, that’s sure to provide you with a pleasant experience.

Helping Patients Feel Less Anxious About Treatments

Some patients are more nervous than others about coming in for treatment. Because of this, we’ve designed and built Valley Hyperbaric Center to be more accommodating for our patients. Patients may be more nervous, especially if it’s their first time coming in for hyperbaric oxygen therapy. We reassure patients that the procedure is pain-free and can help treat wounds that have not healed yet. We want to deliver an excellent patient experience and hope that patients come in with peace of mind knowing they’re getting quality, attentive care from professionals who understand their needs.

At Valley Hyperbaric Center, we value our patient’s comfort and take pride in delivering reliable results. Visit us or arrange your next appointment whenever you need hyperbaric oxygen treatments in Manteca & Roseville, CA.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a treatment option typically used to treat diver’s decompression sickness but is quickly gaining popularity as a means for treating various health issues, wounds, and infections. The procedure is ideal for most patients as it is non-invasive and rarely has complications.

Benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy helps patients recover faster by providing their bodies with pure 100% oxygen. Currently, the treatment can help patients with various medical conditions like diabetic wounds, radiation injuries, and failed skin grafts. In cases of severe infection, the additional oxygen in your blood allows your body to deal with the infection better and heal at a quicker rate by promoting the release of stem cells.

How Does Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Work?

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy allows for more oxygen to be delivered to damaged tissues and various parts of the body. The patient will be placed in a pressurized chamber known as a hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber, whereby the air pressure is increased by up to 3 times the normal air pressure. By increasing the amount of oxygen the patient is getting, tissue and wounds will get additional oxygen, reducing swelling and promoting new blood vessels.

How Effective Is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is highly effective at dealing with an increasing number of medical conditions. While patients may see results sooner, it can take up to 30 treatments to see noticeable results. Due to the nature of this treatment, hyperbaric oxygen therapy may not be for everyone. You may not be suitable for this treatment if you have a medical history of certain lung conditions or suffer from claustrophobia and are anxious about being in enclosed spaces. Consult with your doctor to make an educated decision on if the treatment is right for you.

For best results, treatments are typically ordered and scheduled 5 days per week until all of the treatments are complete.
